Stop chasing "did this fix it?" replies. Add a one-click "issue resolved" button to Zendesk emails so customers confirm resolution - or reopen - instantly.
install from theZendesk Marketplace
You've solved the customer's problem. You send the fix. And then… nothing. The ticket sits in Pending while you wait to hear back. Days later, either an automation quietly closes it - and you never learn whether the fix worked - or the customer replies "thanks!" and reopens a ticket that was already done.
Both outcomes are bad. Silent auto-close means you're guessing at resolution and your reopen rate hides real failures. "Thanks"-reopens mean agents re-touch solved tickets just to close them again. Either way, your queue metrics get noisier and your agents spend time on tickets that need zero work.
The fix is to make confirmation effortless: put the answer in the email as a button.
With Klick-Zen, your "we've resolved your issue" email includes two buttons:
customer_confirmed. Done. No reply, no
reopen, no agent touch.not_resolved, and (via your triggers) routes it straight back to the
assigned agent with elevated priority. The customer clicks once from their inbox. No login, no typing, no survey link. The ticket updates instantly and the customer sees a branded confirmation page.
Zendesk can auto-solve pending tickets after N days of silence - but silence isn't confirmation. It can't tell "fixed and satisfied" from "gave up and churned." And Zendesk's emails can't contain a control that changes ticket status when clicked; that requires an external endpoint to receive the click and act on the ticket via the API. Klick-Zen provides exactly that, with no code and no hosting.
Step 1 - Create two buttons in Klick-Zen:
| Button | Actions |
|---|---|
| "✅ Yes, my issue is resolved" | Set status → Solved; add tag customer_confirmed; insert
private comment "Customer confirmed resolution via email button" |
| "I still need help" | Set status → Open; add tag not_resolved; insert private
comment "Customer indicated issue is NOT resolved" |
Step 2 - Add the buttons to your solve email. Paste both HTML snippets into the trigger or macro your team uses when marking tickets solved (e.g., your "Notify requester of solved request" trigger email).
Step 3 - Add follow-up triggers in Zendesk:
not_resolved is added - set priority
to High, notify the assignee, and optionally auto-reply: "Sorry it's not sorted
yet - your agent has been notified and will follow up shortly."customer_confirmed is added
- send a one-click CSAT email.
See our CSAT guide →That's the whole build. Your existing auto-close automation stays as the fallback for customers who never click.
customer_confirmed vs.
auto-closed-by-silence is a reporting distinction you can see in Explore. You'll
know your true fix rate for the first time.Install Klick-Zen, build the two buttons above, and add them to one trigger. You'll see the first customer-confirmed close the same day.
