We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

Payment Data. If you make a purchase, payment card information (such as your card number and security code) is collected and stored directly by our payment processor, Stripe, and is not stored on our systems. In Short: When our customers use Klick-Zen within their Zendesk instance, we process their end users' data on the customer's behalf and under the customer's instructions.
The Klick-Zen Services operate within our customers' Zendesk instances and may process personal information contained in our customers' support tickets and related records, such as end-user names, email addresses, and ticket content ("Customer Data").

If you are an end user of one of our customers (for example, you received an email containing Klick-Zen buttons from a company whose support desk uses our Services), your data is controlled by that company, and this privacy notice does not apply to their processing of your information. We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the Services, such as session and authentication cookies. We also use Plausible Analytics to collect information about how visitors use our website, such as pages visited, time on site, and approximate location derived from IP address. This information is used in aggregate to improve the Services and is not used for advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect the functionality of the Services.
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. Sources of personal information. We collect the categories of personal information listed above directly from you when you register for or use the Services, contact us, or make a purchase.
How do we use and share your personal information? We use the personal information described above for the purposes set out in the section "HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?" We disclose personal information to service providers pursuant to written contracts, as described in the section "WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION?" We do not sell personal information, we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not process personal information for targeted advertising or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve (12) months.

You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require proof that the agent has been validly authorized to act for you.
Verification. Upon receiving your request, we will verify your identity by matching the information you provide with information we maintain, such as by contacting you at the email address associated with your account. We will only use information provided in your request to verify your identity or authority to make the request.
Response timing. We will respond to your request without undue delay and in any event within forty-five (45) days of receipt. Where reasonably necessary, we may extend this period by an additional forty-five (45) days, in which case we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it within the initial response period.
Right to appeal. If we decline to act on your request, we will inform you of our decision and the reasons for it. You may appeal by emailing support@klick-zen.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." Within the time period required by your state's law (forty-five (45) or sixty (60) days, as applicable), we will inform you in writing of any action taken or not taken in response to your appeal, including a written explanation of our reasons. California residents: additional disclosures. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (the "Shine The Light" law) permits users who are California residents to request, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the identities of those third parties.
